On 22.11.2024, complainant Prem Nath S/o Gyan Chand R/o Chakrohi, Tehsil Suchetgarh, District Jammu lodged a written complaint at Police Station R.S. Pura. He reported that on 21.11.2024, he had stored 01 quintal of paddy crop in his field at Chakrohi. Later that day, around 16:00 hours, he discovered that the paddy crop had been stolen by unknown individuals.
Acting on the complaint, a case was registered under FIR No. 250/2024 U/S 303(2) BNS at Police Station R.S. Pura.
A special team was immediately constituted to investigate the matter. Leveraging inputs from reliable sources and technical assistance, the team swiftly apprehended the accused, identified as Sandeep Kumar S/o Ashok Kumar R/o Chakrohi, Tehsil Suchetgarh, District Jammu.
During sustained questioning, the accused admitted his involvement in the theft. On his disclosure, the stolen 01 quintal paddy crop was recovered successfully.
