The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association (J&K HCBA) has elected its new team of office-bearers following the third round of voting results. A total of 600 votes were counted, determining the leadership for the upcoming term.
Election Results
President:
K. Nirmal Kotwal secured a decisive victory with 321 votes, defeating Abhinav Sharma (137 votes), Rohit Sharma (102 votes), Bhavishya Sudan (17 votes), and Pawan K. Kundal (13 votes).
Vice-President:
Baldev Singh emerged victorious with 308 votes, followed by Deepika Mahajan (173 votes), Daljeet Manhas (105 votes), and Ashwani Kumar Banotra (13 votes).
General Secretary:
Pardeep Majotra won the post with 227 votes, overcoming Arjun Singh Pathania (196 votes), Himanshu Sharma (127 votes), and Ahtsham Hussain Bhat (48 votes).
Joint Secretary:
Anshu Mahajan claimed the position with an overwhelming 383 votes, defeating Rahul Sharma (211 votes).
Treasurer/Cashier:
Rahul Aggarwal was elected with 369 votes, followed by Jameel Choudhary (130 votes) and Atul Sharma (101 votes).
