KISHTWAR, FEBRUARY 06
Kishtwar Administration on the direction of Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma and under the close supervision of Tehsildar Pramod Kumar today conducted an anti-encroachment and COVID Appropriate Behaviour Enforcement Drive in the Municipal area.

A team of Municipal officials headed by Tax Inspector Bahar Ahmed Giri along with police party removed the encroachments on the foot paths alongside the National highway jointly visited the Municipal area from Tehsil office to Malipeth, which were causing hindrances in the smooth movement of public.

Besides the illegal encroachment articles/material like racks signboards etc were also seized and kept in the custody of MC Kishtwar.

The enforcement team imposed fine on the shopkeepers and the public found without wearing masks. The unhygienic stuff found in mutton/chicken/vegetable shops were also destroyed on the spot.

The encroachers were warned of strict legal action on repeating the encroachments on the Govt land.

Officials informed that the District administration is going to continue the drive regarding removal of encroachments on regular basis.
