Acting tough against drug trafficking and drug peddlers District Police JAMMU apprehended two notorious drug peddlers namely 1. Rahul Singh Jamwal S/O Late Romesh Singh Jamwal R/O Rama Channi 2. Shagun Chandel @ Tannu Jamwal W/O Rahul Singh Jamwal resident of Rama Channi and recovered 28 grams of heroin (Chitta) from their possession during Patrolling/Naka in Channi Himmat area. A case, FIR No. 171/2024 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act, has been registered at Police Station Channi Himmat. Further investigation is underway to unearth the forward and backward linkages of the arrested individuals.
The operation was meticulously executed by SHO Channi Himmat Inspector Shariq Bhat under the supervision of SDPO City East Sh Sheezan Bhat (JKPS) and SP South Sh.Ajay Sharma (JKPS)
