Kulgam* February 20: Kulgam Police continuing unwavering efforts to eradicate the menace of Drugs from the society, arrested one more Drug Peddler and recovered huge quantity of contraband substance.
On a specific information from reliable sources, a team of officers of Police station Qazigund raided the suspected place (residential house) at Sesman Danjan, Qazigund and recovered;
25 Kg of Poppy straw
from the possession of a notorious drug peddler namely, Nisar Ahmad Dar S/O Ab Rehman Dar R/O Sesman Damjan Qazigund. The accused was arrested, and regarding the incident Case with FIR No 26/2022 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Qazigund and investigation is in progress.
Kulgam Police has been reiterating its request to general public to come forward and join hands to support us so that we together can uproot the evil of Drug menace and other anti-social activities from the society.
